The Tiptoe Pose In Padand-gushtasana (opposite) Bend the standing leg and gently sit down on your heel. The Standing Splits These Anjaneyasana variations are by nature both balancing poses and forward bends, sharing the benefits of both cycles. Unlike the sitting Splits, where gravity helps to increase the stretch, here you are working against gravity, using your arms to pull the raised leg up and carry its weight.
