Yoga movements on Inhale and raise it. Repeat, changing legs. Plough Variations The variations of the Plough (Halasana) bend and stretch each part of your spine in turn. With legs stretched out away from your head you are working on your neck and upper spine, while walking yourfeet in close to your head moves the stretch down to your lower back. Before practising any of these variations, always hold the classic pose, with hands clasped behind your back. Whenever you feel stiff in a position at first, bring your arms over to the floor behind you for a short time, to relieve the stretch on your upper back. If you find yourself resorting to fast, shallow breathing in these variations, relax into the pose and focus your mind on your breath. Yoga movements 2016.
